Terme 3000 Moravske Toplice is Slovenia's easternmost major resort — tucked into the Prekmurje flatlands near the Hungarian and Austrian borders, a region that feels entirely different from the Alpine Slovenia most visitors know. From Ljubljana Airport, the drive takes about two hours: east on the A1 motorway, then the A5 expressway through Murska Sobota, exit for Moravci. The Prekmurje plains stretch out on either side — different Slovenia, worth seeing.
