Flying into Graz for Slovenia — Does It Make Sense?

Graz Airport has Ryanair connections from London, Dublin, Barcelona and Brussels — and for travellers whose final destination is Slovenia or Croatian Istria, it's genuinely worth considering. The route south through Spielfeld into Slovenia is all motorway. Clean, straightforward, no mountain passes.

        Ljubljana (2h), Lake Bled (2h 15 min), Piran (3h 30 min), or Croatian Istria (Poreč, Rovinj, Pula — 3h 30–4h). Especially if your Ryanair fare from London or Dublin is significantly cheaper than flying into Ljubljana.
