🚂 Train Train from Venice Santa Lucia or Mestre to Ljubljana (~3h 30 min, change in Trieste or Villa Opicina area). Airport to Venice station: ~20 min by ATVO bus or water taxi. Check trenitalia.com.

🚗 Rent a car Car rental at the airport. A4 east to Trieste, then SS14 to the Slovenian border near Sežana, then A1 to Ljubljana. ~250 km, ~2h 30 min.

Venice and Bled are only ~230 km apart. Travellers who discover this often build a trip around both: fly into Venice Marco Polo, spend one or two days in Venice, then drive east into Slovenia. Bled, Ljubljana, Piran — all within easy reach. Then fly home from Ljubljana Airport (Brnik), or drive back to Venice.
